Traceability
We only rely on fisheries that allow us to sustainably benefit from marine resources. As a consequence, we can achieve origin, process and destination traceability.
A clear example is that all of HASPAC TUNA’s bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus) comes from suppliers compliant with ICCAT regulations (International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas).
This species is one of the most internationally controlled with a management policy that is regulated based on scientific reports created by its Scientific Committee (SCRS).
All our bluefin tuna products are provided with their corresponding EBCD documentation (Electronic Bluefin Tuna Catch Documentation Program) that guarantees full traceability from the moment of capture.
Within our facilities, operational simplicity also prevails, which makes it easier to optimize said traceability.
The digital treatment of documentation allows us to have real-time information of our processes.
All these demanding measures allow us to have a transparent supply-chain from the sea to the table.
